Our team is building tools to optimize the creator-to-fan relationship, including native video, enhanced podcasting features, improved creation tools, and new community experiences. Weโ€™re continuing to invest heavily in building the most talented team in the Creator Economy and are looking for a Product Marketing Lead to join our team to support our mission.

This role is based in NYC or SF and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, experienced, and results-oriented Product Marketing Lead to shape the product and GTM strategy for one of our core product areas. Youโ€™ll partner with Product Management, Product Design, Engineering, UXR, Market Research and other cross functional teams to understand the needs of creators, uncover latent demand, and shape the product roadmap. Youโ€™ll partner with Marketing, Data Science, Creative, Communications, Growth, and Channel Leads to craft our product narrative and develop and execute breakthrough go-to-market strategies. We expect this person to play a key role developing 0-1 products and bringing multiple high priority products to market. We currently have open roles across various product areas. The successful Product Marketing Lead will:

  • Drive and scale adoption of Patreon for new and existing creators and fans by working with the Growth team to develop our growth marketing vision and go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of creators and fans through qualitative and quantitative research to understand their point points, alternatives in the market, and how we can better serve and message them.
  • Identify new features and products to increase creator and fans adoption and retention.
  • Work with the Creative, Lifecycle, Web, and Brand teams to launch customized campaigns and creative assets for each segment.
  • Partner with Product Management, Product Design, UXR, Engineering and Data Science to establish our growth strategy and product roadmap.
  • Develop a lifecycle marketing strategy to drive engagement and retention with existing creators and fans.

About You

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in Product Marketing, Marketing, or Product Management.
  • Excellent communication capabilities and the ability to work across both highly technical and highly creative teams.
  • Youโ€™ve brought scaled, consumer-grade products to market and now youโ€™re looking for your next creative challenge. Bonus points if youโ€™ve worked on creator products.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large cross-functional teams to bring products to market.
  • Proven experience influencing product development and product strategy using both quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Deep product intuition and demonstrated ability to discover meaningful insights and uncover latent user needs
  • A deep passion for helping creators, and a desire to get sh*t done

New York Pay Range

$158,000โ€”$211,500 USD

The posted range represents the expected salary range for this job requisition and does not include any other potential components of the compensation package, benefits and perks previously outlined. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider your experience, leveling, location and other job-related factors.

San Francisco Pay Range

$158,000โ€”$211,500 USD
