Job Description


We are hiring an intern for the Summer semester. This is a remote position within the United States. 


What you'll do: 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product strategies that align with Lime's mission of creating green, sustainable transportation solutions.
  • Conduct market analysis and user research to identify opportunities for product innovation and improvement, ensuring Lime's offerings meet the evolving needs of urban communities.
  • Support the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, by providing valuable insights and feedback to engineering, design, and marketing teams.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and user feedback to iteratively optimize Lime's products, driving continuous improvement and user satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform product roadmap decisions and maintain Lime's competitive edge in the micromobility market.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Lime, representing our commitment to sustainability and equitable transportation in interactions with stakeholders and the broader community. 


University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements: 

  • University Requirements: Must be actively pursuing an MBA degree from an accredited institution with a focus on business, product management, or a related field. with an expected graduation date in 2025 or 2026.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting in May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruitment process 


About you: 

  • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and derive actionable insights to drive product decisions and strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills: Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Product management knowledge: Basic understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and processes, demonstrated through coursework, projects, or previous work experience.
  • Problem-solving abilities: Proven ability to identify issues, think critically, and propose innovative solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for sustainability and urban mobility: Demonstrated interest in sustainability, environmental issues, and/or urban transportation, with a commitment to contributing to Lime's mission of creating greener, more equitable transportation solutions.


Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience in a product management role, either through internships, co-op programs, or full-time employment, demonstrating a deeper understanding of product lifecycle management and strategy development.
  • Preference for candidates with an MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field, showcasing a higher level of academic preparation and expertise.
  • Prior exposure to the technology sector, specifically within mobility, transportation, or related industries, providing valuable insights and context for the role within Lime's micromobility ecosystem.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment or demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing adaptability, resourcefulness, and a willingness to take ownership and initiative in a rapidly evolving organization.


The anticipated monthly rate for this position is $4,290.00 - 7,000.00. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications as well as the candidate's location of residence.
