This has created the opportunity for Reddit to build a massive and highly differentiated ads business.
As the Engineering Manager of the Shopping Ads Delivery team. You will work closely with Product owners and Data Scientists from our Ads team to help with launching our critical Dynamic Product Ads deliverableS, optimize performance and provide out of the box automation tools to improve ROAS for Product Ads vertical. You will measure various marketplace tradeoffs.
Responsibilities
- Build and deliver Dynamic Shopping Ads that can scale with our ads business over the next several years
- Improv performance and providing out of the box automation tools to improve ROAS for Product Ads vertical
- Own the execution of your teamโs roadmap and be accountable for consistent, predictable delivery
- Prioritize both planned projects and emergent asks
- Coach Tech Leads on project management and empower your team to execute autonomously
- Develop processes and tooling that constantly improve the quality of our products and systems, ensuring that they meet product requirements, customer needs, and SLA
- Assist in the recruitment process to grow the team
Qualifications
- 2+ year of supporting and growing engineering teams - ideally hiring and scaling a team over 100% growth
- Experience managing a team including hiring, onboarding, and professional development
- Ability to solve almost any problem your team has yourself, but you prefer to guide your team into a solution
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to collaborate effectively with teams in a fully-remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with data driven/informed decision making
- Familiarity with the teamโs tech stack, or a proven history on quickly reaching proficiency in unfamiliar tools/languages
- Familiarity with Ad tech - Shopping Ads / Marketplace, backend or full stack ecommerce systems is a bonus.
