Job Description
We're a very small team up till now mostly relying on external agencies for design. We care deeply about good design and we are now looking to add an in-house Product Designer (m/f/d) to take ownership of the design of our iOS, Android and web apps.
This is one of the first key roles in the project and we're looking for someone who can translate feature ideas into mockups and beautiful visual designs that our engineers can work with, and maintain and develop a consistent design language across our product line.
What you'll be doing:
- Translating concepts into wireframes, mockups and prototypes
- Contributing to the overall product and design direction of the whole company
- Developing style guides for a consistent design language across products
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
- Creating visual designs with accessibility in mind
- Conducting regular research on user experience
To succeed in this role, we think you should be:
- Experienced with Figma and similar tools
- Experienced leading and designing interactive applications
- Experienced with iOS and Android design patterns
- Have excellent visual, UI and interaction skills
- Consistent with strong attention to detail
- A great communicator and a team player
- A creative/innovative problem-solver
- Have working proficiency in English
We would also love to see:
- Experience with designing layouts that are accessible and responsive
- Knowledge of digital accessibility and disability inclusion
Budget:
The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the roleโs scope and complexity, and the candidateโs experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below.
The estimated base salary range for this role in Berlin is 73,000 EUR - 79,600 EUR per year.
