Tasks
- Get to know our users (skilled blue-collar workers), and build an understanding of their needs and aspirations through interviews and other research methods.
- Use your exceptional product design skills to design and deliver thoughtfully crafted experiences that help our users achieve their goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners such as product, engineering, data analysts across all phases of the product development process, and work together as a team towards a shared mission
- Use your storytelling and prototyping skills to drive alignment with the squads and stakeholders
- Be the go to person for product management and engineering in your squad to clarify and unblock any design related questions and concerns
- Elevate our practices and processes in the Design Chapter to improve user-centricity, and design quality across the organisation
Requirements
- You have a well crafted portfolio with relevant projects that showcases your skills and experience. For this role, we are specifically interested in someone who has excellent visual design skills
- You have 3 years of proven experience, designing UI and visual experiences in cross-functional teams or in an agency setup
- You have a solid understanding of visual and communication design principles including typography, iconography and grid systems with experience applying this knowledge across various platforms
- You practise evidence-based design, and can rationalise your decisions clearly and credibly
- You enjoy designing, maintaining and implementing design systems with precision from start to finish including the development process
- You can prototype at various fidelities and can communicate in an inspiring and effective manner
- You can work efficiently with common tools such as Figma, Adobe CC, Notion, etc. and can prototype visual & motion at a higher fidelity, e.g. Adobe After Effects, Lottie / Rive, etc.
- You can effectively collaborate in English, German is a plus
